জয়পুরহাট সদর উপজেলার পটভূমি

Three miles northwest of Joypurhat Sadar, on the banks of Jamuna, on the banks of Bel-Amla, the village survived. There are twelve Shivmandiras in the surroundings of the natural environment. It is not known exactly in any age and by whom the temples were built. However, the use of the structure and construction of the temple seems to have been made in the Sena era. Because Sena King Vallabh Sena was a worshiper of Shiva, Sha'vi. There are some cenons of the Senas in this region. Such as Panchbari Lakhma and Patharghata. It is to be assumed that King Ballal Sena built these temples here for Shiva worship.
