The grounds and stadiums are for sports

There is no significant playground, except Joypurhat Stadium in Joypurhat Sadar. However, Joypurhat Stadium ground, Joypurhat collectorate field, Joypurhat Police Line ground, Khonjonpur High School ground and Joypurhat Bazla Government High School ground were used, if Joypurhat Stadium ground was busy. There is a stadium in Panchbibi upazila at this upazila level.

Common game description

150 years ago, in the village of Dhamgram of Mamudpur union of Khetlal upazila of Joypurhat district, two days after Durgapuja, a traditional stick game was played in village Bengal. This sticks are organized around the 1-day long fair. Thousands of spectators arrive in the fair.
